Product Manager

We are a hugely successful Manufacturer of sophistical electro mechanical products and are fortunate to have been enjoying impressive year on year growth for the past decade. Due to this growth, we are now recruiting for a Product Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and driven Product Manager to bring their proven skills of product management into the business. Our ideal candidate will be degree qualified, have significant experience of working as a Product Manager, be technically astute and have been involved in Product Launches as part of previous roles.

Product Manager

To act as Product Champion and subject matter expert.
To develop, implement, manage and drive to completion the product range strategies and plans, in order to achieve market share, sales turnover and gross margin objectives for the brand
Strategic development of Control Systems taking into account the complete product category approach i.e. leverage the brand.
Identification of market gaps, key value chain drivers, trends and customer profit potential.
Consistent and regular interface in the field – customer/commercial market
Initiate and own market research, obtaining buy-in from relevant stake holders producing creative and original specifications for best-in-class customer centric products working with product Marketing and sister companies where appropriate.
Work with the Marketing Manager to provide go-to market strategy helping them understand product positioning, key benefits and target customer.
In liaison with the Marketing Manager to be responsible for product launch and services including producing marketing literature, sales presentations, FAQs, User guides, pricing and technical fact sheets.
Create and sponsor generation plans to drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and product lifecycles.
Overall management and co-ordination of New Product Development programs on time and to budget.
Creation of effective cost/price/value propositions maximizing turnover and profit potential for the business, driving market share and the re-investment in the brands
monitoring and tracking of KPI’s
