Product Manager

Product Manager – £35,000 to £45,000 – Would need to relocate to Norfolk

My client, a well respected and successful E-commerce Pet Company based in Norfolk is now seeking to add a Product Manager to their team. This is a new role created due to extensive growth which now demands the right candidate to manage their current product offering, with capacity to expand their product line.

Role responsibilities:
-Competitor analysis and benchmarking:
-Pricing and promotion
-Measure performance against competitors
-Analyse product offering against competitors
-Analysing product range: measure growth of sales to decide on whether to expand or shrink product groups
-Product grouping and segmentation
-Market analysis to identify new opportunities
-Controlling quality of product content on the website

The ideal candidate will:
-Have previous experience working within the Pet’s industry, with good understanding of associated products
-Will have a good understanding of how Marketing and Promotional activities affect product performance
-Experience in managing sales
-Proven Product Management experience or similar
-Strong analytical skills and experience in extrapolating data in order to come to supported conclusions.
-Strong excel experience
