Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
Our client is a very successful, specialist Manufacturing and Wholesale company who are rivalled experts in their field.
This privately owned business have been successfully operating for many years, employing a skilled, dynamic and dedicated team of around 70 staff from their manufacturing operation in Norwich.
A Product Manager is required to take responsibility for the management of the Product Development to deliver the business plans sales and GM target by working across all departments to execute existing and new products through a stage gate process to ensure timely and efficient internal product launches.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal and external market research
- Compose robust business cases and objectives for product development and launch
- Timely programme of successful product launches
- Opportunistic and flexible approach in response to new opportunities
- Have strong project management skills, for timely delivery
- Have a solid understanding of engineering and operational processes
- Source brand compliant factored finished goods and components
- Work in partnership with external third parties to assess relationship and product ranges
- Monitor competitor products and be expert in products differences
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Deliver informative and knowledgeable product training both internally/externally of the business
- Management of central product information system
We require a Product Manager with a technical background from an engineering & manufacturing operation.
