Are you a Product Development Engineer with knowledge of sensors looking to work for a close knit company, where you will be in an autonomous role and will be given the freedom to develop and advance you career?

You will be working in an expert technical team dedicated to producing a range of extreme environment sensors and devices, this team will allow you to speak your mind in regards to new processes and products. The products you will be producing will be for a multitude of industry’s including automotive, aerospace, and defence.

This company has create a range of proprietary piezoelectric materials that can operate in high temperature, high work environments, that enable it to develop and supply sensors, actuators and transducers which address applications and markets not accessible to existing piezoelectric systems.

This role is suitable for a proactive candidate who is capable of being a key contributor to a developing design and production team. You will work to the highest quality standards and tight deadlines, as well as offer a flexible approach to working. Ideally you will need to hold a NVQ 3 or above, or a degree in a physical science or engineering or have equivalent experience in research, design, production or manufacturing of electro-mechanical systems. You will have the drive to manage your own workload with the potential to contribute to new device ideas, or improve manufacturing techniques through analytical thinking. You will be a great team player with sufficient broad technical knowledge to fully grasp and be able to articulate clearly to others.

The role:
*Product Development Engineer
*To read and implement instruction manuals, technical drawings and specifications.
*Maintain safety, quality, cost, and efficiency for a range of manufacturing environments.
*Manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
*Design using 2D and 3D modelling

The Person:
*Product Development Engineer
*NVQ 3 or Degree in Physical Science or Engineering
*2D & 3D Cad Design experience
