Salary: £42,000 per year
Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting a fantastic business who are keen in employing a Product Developer to join the team on a permanent basis.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated product developer with ideally 5 years experience under them to join a fast paced product development team.
Key Duties:
* Developing the product from concept through to sign-off.
* Working closely with the design team and external vendors to achieve the highest standard of product line with the brands identity and to product margin.
* Following carefully a precise critical path, both internally with our design and studios and externally with vendors to ensure all samples are launched and received in a timely manner.
* Compile detailed tech packs detailing technical documents to include product construction nd finishing details for vendor communication.
* Attend fit meetings with design and studio teams to ensure all products are sized accordingly to standards and sealed prior to production.
* Attention to detail in setting up and maintaining product information in the system, ensuring raw materials are correct and consumption details are correct and accurate.
* Develop and find solutions to support the design teams vision whilst achieving the required targets.
* Liaising with internal teams to ensure your product is measured, fitted and any alternations implemented ready for promotion.
* Process invoices and update product trackers regularly to make sure current spend is captured and visible at all times.
* Potential travel as and when required to suppliers or other sites.
Skills:
* 3-5 years experience minimum as a product developer.
* Proven technical experience working within product development.
* Experience of working with global suppliers.
* detailed knowledge of garment construction.
* High attention to detail, demonstrable skills in problem solving and a focused and positive attitude.

* On offer is a starting salary of £42,000Per Annum.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm.
