Procurement Officer

Salary: £44,400 per year

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our clients team as a Procurement Officer!

You will manage, develop and promote best procurement practice, ensuring all goods and services that are procured provide Value for Money.

What you will be doing?

• Provide guidance and best practice on procurement procedures
• Continuously develop and implement a procurement strategies
• To identify potential partners/suppliers and prepare, obtain and analyse quotation/tenders.
• Provide expert advise on, and ensure compliance with UK and EU Legislation, regulation and case law relating to procurement and engagement of suppliers and contractors
• Provide a procurement service that will create commercial savings in the total costs of key goods and services procured
• Develop a range of core specifications, contract forms and SLA’s which can be adapted for widespread use
• Ensure the production of regular reporting and accurate progress against KPI’s to the executive management team

£44,400 pa DOE

35 hours per week.
