Probation Service Officer (Oasys Assessor) – Kent

Our Client is looking for a Probation Officer to work in Kent for Kent, Surrey, and Sussex CRC as an Oasys Assessor for a minimum of 6 months. You must have recent experience of working with Oasys and be able to use it without assistance.

The role allows you to be based in an office of your choice in Kent (whichever is most convenient for you) but you will be expected to work across the Sittingbourne, Canterbury, and Thanet offices. Expenses for travel between offices are paid at 65 pence per mile, on top of the hourly rate.

In the Oasys Assessment role, the successful person is required to have proficient use of eOasys, but does not require nDelius. You will be responsible for attending the appointment with the offender, conducting their initial risk assessment for allocation, and inducting them into the office. Candidates are also expected to have good timekeeping as you are given a number of inductions and risk assessments to complete on an appointment basis, and fines for the company are given if assessments are late.
