We have an immediate requirement for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect with a focus on Symantec Product Sets in the Greater London area. The Ideal candidate must be an expert in SEP and CSP and should be aware of the industry demands for Security in the Payments area.

The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect will provide thought leadership, innovation and detailed solution design to our customers, and develop a detailed understanding of the International Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities will include:
* Managing relations with software architects, developers, operational personnel and technology leadership (CTO, CIO, Directors etc.) within prospect organizations.
* Proactively liaising with sales leads to ensure a complete personal understanding of the client requirement and business issues to be addressed by any sales proposals involving logical Security
* Leading the solutions architecture design which includes the technical infrastructure requirements, application development/customization requirements and system integration aspects
* Documenting and presenting the solutions architecture to the client
* Developing internal project estimates and cost models for the solutions proposed to the client
* Creating “value propositions” of the proposed solutions for Sales and other employees to articulate in a consistent format to the client
* Providing assistance to prospects with choosing the right set of Products and
designing the Application-integration.
* Positioning technology correctly while providing prospects/customers with a framework and methodology for evaluating our technology and an assessment of product fit to the customer’s enterprise/application’s architectural needs.
* Driving business growth and tracking opportunities in multiple countries and reporting progress and actions to win.

The Essentials:

* 3+ years of driving Enterprise application architecture design within the Financial Services sector
* 10+ years of overall IT / software development experience within Financial Services
* Flexibility to travel within EMEA
* Excellent understanding of the International Banking Sector
* Excellent understanding of project methodologies and best practices
* Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management including communicating technical information to non-technical audiences
* Ability to design and implement reliable, scalable, highly performant Security
solutions either in a customers’ operation or in a Managed Services Environment
* 5+ years of recent and relevant experience as a Logical Security Application Architect
* Strong knowledge of PCI standards and their implications for Self Service.
