Sales Administrator – Cambridge Science Park
£26,000 – £28,080 per year
Initially a 3 month temporary contract

We are seeking an experienced sales administrator to join a thriving technical manufacturing company based in Cambridge. Initially this position is a 3 month temporary contract.
The purpose of this position is to support various Sales Teams around the globe. Working hours will be structured around the Indian time zone so starting at 07:30 – 15:30
Duties and Responsibilities to include
• Managing customer orders via an in-house system
• Accurate sales order entry, acknowledgement and shipment notification
• Liaison with customers worldwide, acting as a first point of contact for customer enquiries and complaints regarding orders/ delivery and taking ownership of issues
• Responding to all customer enquiries with 24 hours and working to increase customer satisfaction
• Liaison with Customs and Excise within various regions to assist customers with import procedures
• Make initial contact with all new sales enquiries and generate quotations
• Request pre-payment and pursue overdue invoices when necessary to ensure on-time delivery to customers
• Monitor orders within allocated region and liaise with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain company database and offer project support as necessary
Skills and attributes
• A highly experience Sales Administrator with a proven history within strong customer service focussed positions
• Organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work proactively and to anticipate customers’ needs
• Strong team player who can contribute positively and effectively to team goals, taking the lead when required to achieve objectives
• An effective communicator
