About the role

As a Security Watchdog Pre-Employment Screening Advisor, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of Pre-Employment Screening checks for candidates entering employment with any of the high-profile organisations on our client listing.

In this role you will be supported by excellent managers, provided with fantastic training, and given great opportunities to advance your skill sets and career! This is the culture of how we work and individuals who put int he extra effort will be recognmised and reqwarded with any number of our recognition schemes. You will need to be a confident and organised professional to do well in the role, regulalrly spekaingwith senior members of organisations to get them to work with you and provide references for previous employees as soon as possible to ensure that our clients can get the employee started in the fast possible time.

You will also require an enquiring mind as you piece together the jigsaw of an individual’s background, plus a good eye for detail to spot any irregularities which need escalating. At the same time your excellent customer service skills will put candidates at ease and please clients during the screening process, demonstrating your high standards of professionalism.

What you will do:

Ensure the timely delivery of Pre-Employment Screening that meets or exceeds client service level agreements and turnaround times
Using a variety of tools to research the appropriate contacts in order to persuade them to provide a written reference
Carry out telephone based vetting to ensure candidates are screened appropriately, identifying risk where appropriate
To provide outstanding verbal and written communications to both candidates, referees and clients, thereby ensuring exemplary customer service
Follow and maintain business standard operating procedures and screening procedures for client requirements
Ensure service delivery meets/exceeds agreed client service level agreements and turnaround times
Maintain a sensitive approach to personal data of applicants in line with Data Protection requirements.

Your experience will include:

A passionate and skilled telephone communicator who is versed in overcoming challenges and going around gate keepers
Strong time management coupled with the ability to multitask
Outstanding, proactive and persuasive communicator
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
IT literate coupled with good administration experience
Strong interpersonal skills but also able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
