Pre-Construction Manager

Salary: £90,000 – £120,000 per year

This specialist fit out contractor has developed a well-deserved reputation for the delivery of high quality and client centric commercial fit out projects across London.

We are now looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join their high performing team and take responsibility for the management of pre-construction and the delivery of tender bids, ensuring they consistently remain competitive and compelling.

With strong growth plans as part of their strategic 5 year plan, the Pre-Construction Manager will take a critical role in helping to facilitate this expansion, effectively delivering the preconstruction requirements whilst building a team capable of managing the workload on the tenders required to meet their projections.

Pre Construction Manager – some of your responsibilities:

* Actively involved in tender opportunities

* Manage subcontractor tender list

* Produce pricing schedules / BOQs for tender packages

* Liaise with various departments including technical services to agree packages

* Attend post bid interviews

* Manage the tender Q&A process from subcontractors

* Manage and maintain relationships with supply chain

* Work collaboratively with operations team to align the bid cost with technical requirements

Pre Construction Manager – qualifications, skills and expertise:

* Comprehensive experience in a preconstruction capacity, ideally within a commercial office fit out contracting environment

* Technically competent, with the ability deliver and improve the tender process

* Ability to develop a team capable of managing workload on multiple tenders

* Outstanding communication and organisation skills

* Exceptional interpersonal skills
