Pre-Clinical Project Management Consultant – Oncology

Our Cambridge based client is a new, exciting and growing biotechnology and drug discovery company, who is at the forefront of an emerging field of biology RNA epigenetics. They are looking complement the team with a talented Pre-Clinical Project Management Consultant – Oncology, working up to 2 days per week or the equivalent in hours pro rata.

Using your extensive experience in small molecule oncology therapeutics, together with multi-disciplinary matrix management and your project management skills, you will be responsible for the daily management of all pre-clinical activities. You will also effectively liaise with stakeholders as well as engaging CRO’s. With your exceptional communication skills, you will act as a point of contact co-ordinating the delivery of API manufacture, formulation and safety studies at the main pre-clinical CRO.

To be considered for this position you will have up to or including a PhD in relevant subject eg. molecular biology with extensive demonstrable industry experience with either a pharma or biotech organisation. PRINCE 2 or equivalent project management qualification is essential and experience of MS Project/Merlin or equivalent would be advantageous.
