Salary: £54,000 – £57,600 per year

Are you an enthusiastic, empathetic and committed Clinical Lead nurse (RGN/RMN) who wants to work in a nursing home that has a “Good” CQC rating? The care home, which is in a lovely setting caters for a whole range of needs including dementia care, specialist nursing as well as respite care. As a Clinical Lead you will work closely with the Registered Manager, providing a safe, caring and supportive environment and help to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for all the residents.

Skills for the Clinical Lead role:

  • To supervise, inspire and manage all care staff to achieve excellence through a multi-disciplinary approach
  • Build trusting, positive relationships with colleagues, management and service users as well as external healthcare professionals and bodies.
  • To be part of the Home’s Management Team with a lead responsibility for management, support and direction of care services and clinical standards
  • Knowledge of CQC Fundamental standards, Health & Safety, COSHH, manual handling, infection control and good hygiene.
  • Understanding of safeguarding people at risk
  • Ability to identify risks in their working environment and knowledge to minimises/manages risk

Requirements of the Clinical Lead role:

  • Degree in Nursing (RGN or RMN) or recognised nursing qualification and registered with NMC
  • Supervisory or management experience including induction support, appraisals and ensuring ongoing development of staff
  • Demonstrating and maintaining specialist knowledge, relevant qualifications and skills necessary for the role (including keeping clinical practice up to date).
  • Delivering a good quality person-centred service for residents, in line with legislative, regulatory and Fundamental Care Standards
  • Experience of Implementing policies and procedures (including health and safety) in an effective manner
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to display empathy and warmth.
