Sellick Partnership is actively seeking a high-calibre PR & Marketing Executive to join an established marketing and PR team in their Manchester based head office.
A market leading finance and legal recruitment specialist with seven offices across the country, the business is experiencing a period of growth and requires an ambitious and motivated individual with the skills and attitude to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, your remit will be varied and all encompassing, working alongside employees at all levels within a demanding, yet fun and friendly environment.
This role will focus on PR and content, but will also involve supporting the wider marketing team with a variety of projects across the full marketing mix.
Overview of role and responsibilities
* Responsibility for developing and copywriting engaging and inspiring content for both online and offline channels which will include marketing flyers, brochures, case studies, newsletters, email communications, infographics, blogs, press releases, corporate videos, white papers, presentations and website content.
* Create and deliver a hard-working and proactive PR strategy across the regions to create an authoritative voice with the local, regional, national and trade press.
* Proactively research media opportunities, as well as building and maintaining relationships with journalists.
* Proactively position Sellick Partnership as a thought leader in the market through the market research, publication of credible market information, salary surveys and events.
* Management of the content calendar to ensure it is kept relevant and up-to-date so it can inform our content marketing strategy.
* Identification of affiliate partnerships to generate brand awareness and increased market presence.
* Contribute to the social media strategy, including the use of all social media platforms as well as developing the content and delivery plan.
* Assist with internal communications, to improve and manage content so that it is useful and engaging.
* Co-ordinate a series of internal and external events including booking venues, coordinating invites, planning staffing and organising event materials.
* Day-to-day external agency management – building and maintaining strong relationships with our external agencies to ensure campaigns and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Day-to-day management of the company website and intranet, including updating copy, imagery to deliver the PR and content strategy as well as working with the external agency to continuously develop and improve Sellick Partnership’s digital presence.
* Providing training to sales teams in areas such as written sales skills, social media and advertising.
* Monitor and enforce external communication in line with brand guidelines.
* Reporting and analysis of all marketing channels, including blogs, PR, content, the website, campaigns, PPC, social media channels and job boards.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 2-3 years PR and marketing experience working within a professional or business services environment. You will have experience of working with a variety of stakeholders and delivering high quality results.

Additional skills and abilities required for this role include:
* Exceptional written communications skills, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different media channels and audiences
* Confidence in liaising with press, management and clients at all levels
* Experience of producing content for social media and blog writing
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
* Confidence in reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities, including data analysis where appropriate
* Excellent communication, influencing, persuasion and engagement skills
* Diplomacy, tact and understanding of others’ priorities to achieve common goals
* Key team player with experience of working across the full marketing mix
* Experience of working with external marketing agencies
* Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel (Essential), PowerPoint and Photoshop (Desirable)
* Proven presentation skills – verbal and written
