Pr Account Manager

An excellent opportunity is now available for an experienced PR Account Manager to join my client, a successful Norwich based agency.

The purpose of the role is to manage relationships with, and deliver PR services to specified clients, actively contributing to the growth and development of the PR team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with some National brands, so it’s a real chance for someone to work on some very interesting, non-local, PR and marketing projects.

Requirements:
* To manage successful day to day relationships with your clients
* To proactively develop and deliver effective PR strategies and services to your clients, including effective and timely reporting and evaluation.
* To manage regular performance reviews with your clients
* To manage available PR and admin resource and ensure quality of outputs
* To proactively devise and implement improvements to PR procedures
* To contribute to pitches and new business campaigns/proposals
* To recommend ways to develop new business opportunities from existing clients
* To contribute to the financial performance of the business by undertaking effective billing processes and careful cost control
* To co-ordinate effectively with other ‘account handlers’

Need to know
* PR Skills – ideally gained in an agency or travel/tourism environment but all sectors considered
* Proven relationship management skills
* Proven project management skills, coupled with experience of social media and dealing with bloggers
* The ability to plan, prioritise and manage personal workload
