My client based in Nottinghamshire are on the search for a Power Electronics Systems Engineer to join their agile team of about 12 – 14 Electronics Engineers to help work on the design and development of some exciting new projects. The company are a successful and currently expanding Electronics company, a great company to become a part of, they are able to offer a competitive salary and benefits package.Currently the role will offer succesful candidates the opportnuity to work a mixture of remote (about 60%) and on site work (about 40%) unless hardware requirements dictate otherwise. While there are a wide range of areas you will be gain exposure to initially successful applicants will be working on NPD within the aerospace industry.

Required Power Electronics Systems experience:

Electrical or Electronics degree or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in relevant electronics position(s)
Knowledge of AC-DC and DC-DC Converter topologies and control methods
DC-DC power supply design experience
Simulation (electrical/electronic) modelling experience
Development testing experience
Schematic capture experience
