Salary: £30,000 – £31,200 per year
Our client is an international company, supplying specialist engineering parts and services. They draw on centuries of experience and pride themselves on their digital expertise. Owing to ongoing success they are now looking to appoint an Electronics Engineer to carry out repair, modification and overhaul of specialist equipment. General duties will entail:
- Carrying out maintenance, modifications etc in line with work instructions and schematics
- Record components used at each stage of repair, modification and overhal
- Undertake any training required
- Diagnose and fault find where equipment does not achieve required outputs
- Work to quality standards
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance
- Participate in continuous improvement workshops
- Utilise improvement tools such as 5S
- Raise non conformance records as required
- Ad hoc duties as required
In order to carry out this role, candidates should be looking to develop their career in electronic engineering. You should also be able to demonstrate use of electronic test equipment and have experience in soldering. Additionally, you should have great communication skills and be a reliable team member.
