We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to work for a leading polymers manufacturer.
***********This is a home and field based role covering the whole of the UK. Applicants can live anywhere in the UK but a central location is preferred *****
Our client is a leading manufacturer of urethane formulated systems and specialize in the manufacture of industrial coatings, decorative coatings, binder systems and structural adhesives.
The company is undergoing rapid growth which is based upon an excellent product development strategy and wishes to recruit a TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER to sell its technically advanced range of PU liquid waterproofing products to distributors/ installers/ users NATIONALLY.
Applicants, who will ideally be graduates with a 2:1 Science based degree preferably in Chemistry/Material Science (Polymers), must be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully sell technically advanced products through customer trials/ demonstrations, and operate effectively at all levels within the customers’ structure. They are also required to provide technical support to the new and existing customers. A background of selling formulated chemical systems would be a distinct advantage or a candidate with experience in a technical role with some customer support who is now looking to move into technical sales.
The position offers an excellent base salary and the successful applicant will be expected to earn significant additional commission based on an open-ended scheme. The position offers an excellent remuneration package and above all the opportunity to work with a highly successful team. A company car, laptop, phone together with the usual benefits is provided. The basic salary is £48,720per annum.
