Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

Plumber/Heating Engineer Required

Due to expansion a well established electrical and mechanical contractor operating in East Anglia, Midlands,and surrounding areas require an additional Heating Engineer/Plumber to carry out maintenance and installations in both domestic and light commercial properties.

Responsibilities/Skills

• fixing leakages to installing pipes and heating systems
• a thorough knowledge of heating systems
• able to work efficiently paying attention to detail
• Carrying out planned and reactive works with minimum supervision
• working on own initiative
• reading blueprints and water supply systems
• Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes
• Installing and maintaining water supply systems
• Locating and repairing issues with water supply lines
• Repairing domestic fixtures
• Install and maintain gas and oil heating systems

Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• CCN1 (inc cpa1), CENWAT, CKR 1 are essential
• Other Domestic gas qualifications an advantage
• Gas Safe Registered
• Valid driving licence

Salary Package

Salary of £42,000 – £54,000dependant on experience plus a van & fuel card, company clothing and PPE
