Location – NW London – NW10

Salary – up to £36,000per annum
Hours – Monday to Friday only, no weekends – full time permanent position
We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to work alongside the Branch Manager in the day to day running of the branch including overseeing a small Counter and Warehouse team, with very occasional driving and delivery duties.
Main responsibilities:
* Maximise sales, margins and net profit to meet and exceed branch sales targets
* Product ordering and stock control
* Effective management of the small Trade Counter and Warehouse team
* Key holder – open and/or close branch
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Supervisory experience with the ability to motivate others
* Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry
* Customer focussed background with strong communication & interpersonal skills
* Driver with full, clean licence valid for UK driving
* Good verbal and written English
Desirable Skills:
* Product buying
* Quote production
* Computer literate
* Cash handling
* Forklift licence
You will be serving customers on the trade counter where necessary as well as delivery driving on an ad hoc basis.
A versatile and flexible attitude is an essential requirement working in a small but busy team.
