Position: Pipe Fitter
Location: Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke on Trent, Stafford
Contract length: 4 months
Rate of pay: £15.6 – £19.2per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime: x 1.25 if weekends worked
The company:
The company is a steel fabrication business who design, fabricate, supply and install steelwork for the materials handling and power generation industries.
The role:
Due to an increase in workload from upcoming projects on new build energy from waste power stations, the company are seeking Pipe Fitters to join an expanding team of Pipe Fitters and Pipe Welders in their workshops. The work will form part of a large scale pipe line project involving high pressure equipment. Duties will involve working from isometric drawings; cutting, fabricating and fitting carbon steel pipe work. Further work will be available on site in Leicester fitting and installing the pipe work for the right person.
Requirements:
*CSCS card
*Competent with reading and work from isometric drawings
*Experience of fitting and fabricating carbon steel pipe work in a workshop or site based role and ideally experienced in the power generation / petrochemical sectors.
