Our client is a innovative and growing law firm. They currently have exciting opportunities to join their team as Personal Injury Claims Handlers, working on either MOJ or non-MOJ cases.

The main objective of the role is to profitably manage a caseload of Personal Injury claims, acting at all times in the best interest of the Claimant.

The ideal candidate will be required to:

1) Manage their own workload of files
2) Accurately record all time spent
3) Manage files to ensure that all payments made and received are accurately recorded and the procedures relating to payment of disbursements and damages are followed at all times
4) Monitor and manage own compliance with targets in respect of income and file closure rates
5) Meet income and time recording targets

We are looking for applicants who have the following qualifications and experience

1) Law degree and LPC would be desirable
2) Exposure to Personal Injury claims within a Solicitors or Insurers environment
3) Basic knowledge of PI liability and quantum issues
4) IT Literate
5) Self Motivated
6) Organisational skills
7) Ability to concentrate in an open office environment
8) Ability to work well with others
9) Strong communication skills

Previous PI experience is essential either from a legal or insurer background. Alternatively, applications can be considered from Law graduates preferably with LPC qualification.
