People Development Advisor

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity to implement and develop a people development strategy from scratch for an energy company.

About the Role:

The company are a socially focussed energy company committed to making energy prices fairer and more transparent. They are taking the market by storm and have ambitious growth plans over the coming year (and further ahead!)

The role will require you to research, plan, organise and deliver a range of learning and development activities to meet identified training needs at organisational, team and individual level.

Key duties will include:-
* Designing a new people development strategy for the energy company
* Identify training and development needs
* Working with colleagues to create and deliver training plans and development plans that deliver tangible business results
* Developing and delivering on boarding and induction programs
* Producing in-house training material
* Manage the contract and budget for commissioned training as well as monitoring ROI
* Monitor the development of trainees and evaluate the program from trainee reaction to organisational impact.

Required Skills and Experience:

You need to be very aware that you will be implementing this department from the start, so there are no current processes in place. An entrepreneurial and engaging manner is required. A progressive career opportunity.

To be considered current experience within an energy or customer service environment is required. Demonstrable experience of designing training and implementing it. The ability to liaise with management to understand need, but also an engaging manner that instils learning in others.
