International Development Manager – Professional Services

We are currently looking for an International Development Manager – Professional Services, to join a leading healthcare company based in their Surrey offices. As International Development Manager you will report to the Head of International Professional Services Development and be heavily involved in identifying and developing healthcare and pharmacist services with a view to increase revenues and enhance customer relations (business and consumer).

In a time of strong geographical expansion the International Development Manager will be integral in taking the business forward and will require innovative thinking and a proactive approach in a fast paced environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. As International Development Manager – Professional Services, your role will centre around the leadership and growth of existing and new innovative healthcare projects across Europe for multiple company brands. You will be required to consistently improve the service proposition and contribute to the sales growth and profitability of the business by using existing experience of working on an international scale in different countries and varying business cultures.

2. As the successful candidate you will bring new and existing ideas to new markets and adapt accordingly whilst demonstrating knowledge of both the country they are being implemented and following clinical and professional regulations whilst also progressing the projects in an ethical way. The role will also involve working on the service platforms for pharmacies and requires engagement with internal and external stakeholders (pharmaceutical industry).

3. A key part of being the International Development Manager will see you finding new ways to work demonstrating innovation and creativity and sharing best practices. You will be required to work with teams in various business projects and acknowledge local business priorities. You will be required to deliver projects within agreed budgets and share responsibility for those projects whilst working closely with the Head of International Professional Services Development.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application for this role of International Development Manager – Professional Services, we would ask you to ensure you can demonstrate the following in your CV:

1. Experience as a registered pharmacist or medical doctor with previous international (European market) experience and a proven commercial track record. A strong commercial and strategic mindset will be essential in identifying new business opportunities and transferring them into tangible growth. Due to the international nature of this role, the candidate will be required to travel and be fluent in at least one additional European language from German, Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch or Portuguese (English essential).

2. As the successful candidate you will be required to demonstrate experience of managing both directly and remotely a team across a wide geographical area to deliver shared goals. It is essential that you have strong relationship building skills. You will need to be able to think strategically and innovatively to deliver results in an ever changing patient centric environment.

3. You will be required to also show proficient analytical skills and utilise best practice knowledge in order to implement new ideas and refine processes. A successful applicant will ideally have experience and knowledge of the pharmacy market and marketing experience within a pharmaceutical company. Services management and patient centricity experience will be a strong advantage.
