Payroll Manager

Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year

Pure are excited to be recruiting for a Payroll Manager position in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic company and have involvement with an engaging team and upcoming projects.

The key focus of this role is to oversee a system implementation and supporting the wider Payroll function.

Responsibilities:
• Promote relationships with internal stakeholders
• Maintaining the understanding and insight needed to ensure payroll accuracy across the group
• Accountable for the completion & checking of all payrolls for monthly sign-off
• Responsible for developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures
• Ensure Auto Enrolment and Company Pension Scheme enrolment is received within the required time frames and pensions are paid on time.
• Reviewing and managing monthly administration for flexible benefits through payroll
• Undertake regular reviews on the company’s Benefits providers and ensuring the service they are providing is satisfactory including costs
• Provide assistance to external Auditors with their payroll related audit checks

You will be an experienced Payroll Manager with proven experience of managing 1+ direct reports, you will ideally be CIPP qualified or qualified by experience. You will be a team player, hard working and driven to provide an excellent payroll function to the wider company.
