Salary: £42,000 – £50,400 per year
Our client a leading Public sector organisation based in West Yorkshire seek to recruit a highly motivated payroll Manager to take responsibility for the leadership and development of a large payroll team processing payrolls for over 8500 employees.
* Day to day management of the payroll team including maintenance of the payroll system, ensuring all processes are carried out promptly, accurately and in accordance with legislation
* To ensure the reconciliation of the monthly payroll run and associated payroll runs are performed in a timely manner
* Ensure all year end activities are completed & submitted to HMRC – P11ds/ P60s etc
* Ensure the organisation is fully compliant with RTI
* Lead, develop, train the payroll team
responsible for the on-going review of payroll policies and procedures.
* Take the lead on payroll projects.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous staff management coupled with exposure to high volume payrolls.
