Payroll Implementation Specialist

Salary: £40,800 – £48,000 per year

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a well-established global manufacturing business based in Sheffield who are currently seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist to join their busy finance team, initially on a month fixed term contract to Implement a project related to change of payroll and time system providers for 2 entities and headcount of 100+ employees.

Duties of the Payroll Implementation Specialist will include:

– Co-lead a project to change payroll and time system provider
– Support new provider selection and provide recommendation for decision making
– Lead data migration, support testing, parallel run for payroll provider implementation
– Lead trainings for employees and manager for new tools (payslips portal, absence booking, time recordings, etc)
– Provide post-go live support
– Be a middle point between newly selected provider and current one in case of questions/clarifications
– Be a central point of contact for newly selected payroll and time system provider during the period of implementation
– Liaise with third parties to ensure smooth handover of data provision e.g. pension contributions

Person specification:

– 3-5 years minimum working within a payroll role
– Knowledge of current legislation, Payroll and industry specific knowledge
– Great attention to details & complete discretion due to data sensitivity
– Project payroll migration/implementation experience
– P11D migration experience from old system to the new one
– Excellent organizational & customer service skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
