Salary: £15.6 – £19.2 per hour

The AICS Group is a private limited company which specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury.

Position Overview: The AICS Group is looking for a candidate who could join our team in a Head Office as a Payroll & Accounts Officer. You will be pro-active, happy to accept changes and assist the team to build a positive environment.

The Payroll & Accounts Officer role will be to assist the Finance Manager and other team members with weekly and monthly payroll, processing of supplier invoices, invoicing and the credit control function. We are specifically looking for a confident and outgoing individual who can lead on improving the in-house payroll systems

What you’ll do day to day

Processing starts to end of payroll, including confirming time-sheets on STAFF PLAN and SAGE PAYROLL systems

Dealing with Payroll queries and ensuring Staff Paid on time, as well as fulfilling all statutory requirements around payroll

Knowledge of XERO Accounting system for processing Supplier invoices

Under Credit Control-Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days.

Identifying overdue accounts and dealing with appropriately

Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances onto XERO

Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices

Running reports

Assisting with other duties as so directed within the Finance department

* And Finally, you will have had recently minimum 3 years’ experience as a Payroll Officer
