Payroll Administrator

My client based near Standsted in Essex are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their established team on a on a temporary to permanent basis. If you are successful you will start on a temporary basis with a view to going permanent if both you and my client are happy.

You will join a large experienced team who are responsible for the delivery of UK payrolls in excess of 1000 employees. The payroll is run in house on a weekly and monthly basis. You will assist the team in delivering these payrolls accurately and to tight deadlines.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience processing high volume payrolls within a busy payroll environment. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate statutory deductions such maternity, paternity, adoption and sickness payments. You should be able to demonstrate a keen attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines, excellent communication skills and commitment to being a conscientious team player are essential.
