£13,219.2 (£21,420 fte) + £26,000 per year regional uplift + £643 essential car user allowance

We are seeking a motivated Collection/Visiting Officer to help us deliver our new Personal, Modern and Better services. As Collection/Visiting Officer, working on your own, you will be required to help maximise income recovery by carrying out unannounced home visits across a geographical area, to remind tenants of their financial responsibilities, obtain payment agreements and collect payments.

This post will be 18 hours per week, over 3 days and whilst hours may be subject to some negotiation, they are likely to be from 3pm to 8pm and 3 hours on a Saturday morning. Occasional attendance in the office will be required.

Applicants must be computer literate, organised, confident and effective communicators, able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and deal with difficult situations effectively.

Experience of working within an arrears/debt recovery environment, would be desirable. You will hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car for work.
