Part Time Accountant

With a strong commitment to excellence and a worldwide presence, we are hiring a talented and motivated Part-Time Accountant to join our dynamic team at our Cramlington location.Roles and Responsibilities:As a Part-Time Accountant, you will: Financial Support: Provide financial support to the 3 client Group businesses, investigating and advising on highly complex and sensitive financial issues.Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external service providers, including banks, auditors, and finance companies.Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for Management/Board, including Profit & Loss. Ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed timescales and legal requirements.Statutory Compliance: Ensure statutory accounts and returns are accurate, meeting agreed timescales and legal requirements, and interpret these as necessary.VAT Expertise: Handle VAT returns and manage the Year End File. Skills and Qualifications:To excel in this role, you should have: Qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA.Over 1 year of experience in a finance background, essential.Over 1 year of experience in a manufacturing company, essential.Desirable experience in Invoice Finance.Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing.Strong planning and organizational skills to meet strict weekly, monthly, and annual financial deadlines.Excellent communication skills.
