Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance team in Thame. The role is to provide support to the management accountant and to assist with month end accounts.

Principal Accountabilities: ul

  • Preparing cash book imports for two companies and importing into Sage200
  • Reapportioning cost to the correct
  • Liaising with branches, chasing up information
  • Processing petty cash expenditure, reconciling each month and preparing journals.
  • Collecting payroll information from sage 50 payroll reports and preparing journals ensuring costs are charged to the correct nominal codes and cost centres li
  • >Preparing payroll accrual journals if needed to ensure there is enough cost going through accounts t

    The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts with experience of maintaining the ledgers, accruals and prepayments, ideally looking to develop further.

    The individual must be IT literate and be a strong team player, with a professional approach to your work.

    You must be comfortable liaising with people at all levels within the business, and reporting to the Management Accountants.

    Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

    The salary on offer is dependent upon experience between £26,000and £25,000, plus a benefits package and possible Study support for the successful individual.
