Accountant

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Accountant to join an accountancy business based local to Norwich. You will be responsible for management of accounts, tax and VAT returns, payroll and pensions. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm which can be flexible.

Duties of the Accountant:

• Final accounts production for a wide range of types and sizes of businesses
• Management accounts and other account statements
• You will be responsible for taxation computations, returns, compliance and advice to new and existing clients
• Systems work using Xero and Cashflow
• Dealing with pensions and payroll
• Liaising with clients via email and phone

Experience required for the Accountant:

• Previous experience working within practise
• A qualification of AAT to Level 3 is essential
• A qualification of ACCA is highly desirable
• Experience using Xero, Cashflow, Sage and IRIS is desirable
• Experience using Microsoft applications
• Confident communicator who enjoys responsibility

• You will be paid a very competitive salary of £27,600 – £32,400depending on experience and training
