Panel Wirer / Electrical Technician

Salary: £15.6 – £21.6 per hour

My client, a leading designer and manufacturer of engineering products based in Cambridgeshire, are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Panel Wirer/Electrical Technician on an ongoing contract basis.
Due to an influx of work, they are keen to secure the services of an individual who has prior and demonstrable experience within a similar role, preferably within machinery build or automotive sector.
You will work with the Electrical Build team on all aspects of system looming, panel wiring, sub-assembly and electrical assembly, and use design schematics and/or E-Plan layouts to produce quality products to a tight deadline.
Ideally you will be vocationally qualified to a high level – C&G/NVQ or Apprenticeship, and be able to refer to many years of experience within the role. A strong electro-mechanical assembly background is required, as the assembly of sub-systems is a key part of this role. Possession of a 17th Edition qualification is preferred, but not essential.
