Our client are a successful and forward thinking packaging Manufacturer based in the Tyne and Wear area. They are a global organisation who are just going through further growth as a business. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team.
Role
You will be required to work as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician on site, duties will involve:-
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on site
• Maintain a range of packaging and high speed machines and equipment
• PLC Fault Finding
• Basic Project work
• Site facility work
• Train Apprentices
Qualifications / Training
You must be time served, within a Manufacturing environment
Multi skilled and ideally a broad range of experience
Pneumatics, hydraulics,
Good electrical skills, fault finding
An understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety on site
Shifts
Continental Shifts (3 on 3 off – days/nights)
Salary
Circa £33,000
