Salary: £49,200 per year

A hospice and palliative care service in Westminster is currently looking to recruit an experienced RGN/Adult Nurse to work as Clinical Nurse Specialist in their community-based team.

You will be joining a strong multi-disciplinary team that provides palliative and end of life care to people in their own homes throughout North and West London.

Details of this RGN Hospice Clinical Nurse Specialist position and what the successful candidate will receive:

* A permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week

As RGN Hospice Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with patients and primary care teams to ensure that palliative care patients are enjoying the best possible quality of life. Responsibilities will include delivering evidence-based symptom control advice and supporting patients and their families emotionally and socially.

It is essential that candidates for this RGN Hospice Clinical Nurse Specialist position meet the following:

* NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN

* Demonstrate proven experience in a palliative care or similar specialism in addition to some experience working in the community

* Ideally have completed MSc level studies in palliative care or be willing to undertake this

* Very strong communication and interpersonal skills and confident liaising with patients and families during the palliative care pathway

* Demonstrate some experience with teaching, research and clinical audits

* Able to adhere to a flexible rota
