Outpatient Department Manager

My client is looking to recruit an Outpatient Manager whom will be responsible for leading the provision of efficient and expanding outpatient services for the site. Essentially the candidate will be a Registered General Nurse, or a similar qualification with clinical experience. Furthermore, have significant exposure in a senior role to external stakeholders. Communication skills are vital alongside organisational skills and experience of pre-admission clinics.

It would be desirable to have independent health sector experience and intermediate life support knowledge.

Operational responsibilities for this role will involve:
• Rostering staff
• General and human resource management
• Cost control
• Monitoring issues of staff and patient safety
• Acting as a role model for the highest standards of best practice
• Regular liaison with business development and marketing personnel to ensure effective usage of the promotional materials

These will be measured against the department budget.
