Position: Electrical & Entertainment Manager
Location: Kidderminster, West Midlands
Hours: Full time
Salary: £26,000 – £32,400per year depending on experience

ROLE:
Keeping their customers happy keeps them busy 24 hours a day, every day and as such, they are currently looking for a Retail Department Manager for one of their stores in Kidderminster.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Lead their team, making decisions every day that supports their colleagues to do their job and puts a smile on their faces as they deliver a great Shopping Trip for customers.
b) Plan every seasonal, trade driving, promotional or entertainment launch to achieve maximum sales, excellent impact and presentation.
c) Manage electrical returns in line with company policy and ensuring full credit is always received.
d) Lead the standard of customer service ensuring service is helpful and friendly and customers receive accurate and informative information about the produce they are buying.
e) Ensure the correct security and product protection procedures are followed for high value items.
f) You are responsible for all safe and legal routines for their departments, ensuring plans are in place to address identified issues.
g) Work ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with their team to coach them on what good looks like.
h) Make sure their team are trained and give them confidence in their capabilities and pride in their achievements.
i) Make sure their team has the tools to do the job.
j) Help their team make a difference for their customers.
k) Listen and share ideas with their team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) The ideal candidate will already be working in a fast paced Customer Facing Retail environment, and must have experience of managing large teams.
b) Strong Leadership & Planning and Organising skills.
c) Passion for retail.
d) Development of People.

You may have experience of the following: Department Manager, FMCG, Customer Service, Store Manager, Retail Supervisor, Electrical Retailer, Assistant Manager, Mobile Phone Sales, White Goods, Senior Retail Assistant, Store Manager, IT Retail, Home Entertainment, Showroom Sales Manager etc.
