Location: Nottingham
Benefits: £60,000 – £66,000salary depending on experience, 33

Status: Permanent. 40 hours a week.

Role Description:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the chosen Operations
Manager will be responsible for overseeing transport operations and ensure the
company delivers the most reliable urban public transport in Nottingham.
The duties of the Operations Manager will include:
– Overall responsibility for all Operations, Control Room and Revenue staff.
– Management and deployment of staff.
– Oversee training is delivered to staff in conjunction with line managers and training officer.
– Formulation and implementation of timetables and rosters.
– Involved in annual pay negotiation and trade union negotiation.
– Incident investigation and H&S management.
– Financial budgetary control of Operations and Revenue staff.
– Method statement reviewer and approver for line management.
Candidate Profile:
The Operations Manager will have or be the following:
– Experienced Manager in charge of staff and overseeing operations.
– Experienced in the transport sector, preferably rail.
– Excellent communicator.
– Degree qualified ideally with H&S certification. E.g. Nebosh
