The Client & Role | Who Are They?

Got some experience in production planning or supply chain/ buying and want a chance to show you can take on a full operational role?

Or are you a production/manufacturing engineer that knows how it all knits together and want that next step?

Or are an experience manufacturing professional keen to share your broad experience in manufacturing/ production?

This is a satellite site of a designer and manufacturer of industrial/manufacturing tools and equipment and is therefore best described as a micro business with fewer than 20 people. Despite being a small and tight knit team, their output is fantastic, but could be better still.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

The role of Operations Manager will see you take responsibility for the supply chain from receipt of customer order through to dispatch and will be hands on at every step. You’ll be producing the production plan, liaising with suppliers to ensure material availability, identifying improvements in production and transactional processes and generally working with the team and senior management to ensure OTIF.

Given the small nature of the business, you’ll enjoy variety and autonomy and the opportunity work with some great team mates in an environment that is comparatively free from politics and where training is readily available through the parent business.
