Location: Stockport

Salary: £60,000 – £78,000(depending on experience)

Our client an expert boutique washroom company are looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. The Operations Manager will have proven experience in Operations Management at a high level and must be a strong personality with a determination to set high goals. Our client is looking for this Operations Manager to have a positive and self-motivated attitude with a passion for learning and will be a high performer whatever the world may throw at you. You need to be able to produce accurate and timely reports and follow up other team members to achieve this. You must have a high level of attention to detail and be an expert at follow up and execution.

What the Operations Manager will be doing
•Your main role will be to work with the leadership team to develop our clients Operations and project management strategy to come into line with their 3 year company plan and to ensure the plan is executable and SMART.
•Responsible to ensure that their operations plan takes into account global considerations
•You will need to be able to produce accurate, concise information to show how your strategy is aligning with our clients goals and how as a result of your efforts your key objectives will be achieved.
•You are responsible for setting the execution plan as to how you will achieve your strategy and displaying initiative and creativity in showing this.
•You are responsible for the development of the companies brand operationally and for increasing the value and perception of the brand in the market by ensuring they are very fast moving and always adding value to their product range at the same time as controlling operational costs.
•You are responsible for all operational communications. For leading the team to be highly effective, a process driven team led team that fully supports their other teams.

Must Have
•Min 2 years experience in an Operations management role
•Excellent communication skills
•Good understanding of Lean and process management
•An understanding of purchasing and global distribution.
•Prepared to think outside of the box and to be a self-motivated and personally accountable person with a great attitude.
•Problem solver and solution provider
•Strong financial / figures knowledge and a very confident user of IT and Excel and a quick learner of computer systems.
•Able to present information in a clear, simple and concise manner.
•Passion and enthusiasm for meeting people and gaining their confidence and trust.
•Transparent attitude with a preparedness to admit mistake and be adjusted.
•An ability to develop your own role and take the initiative to improve systems and processes where you see the opportunity.
•Understand the value of a quality brand.

Education and Qualifications
•Postgraduate Qualification
•Minimum A mark in Maths GCSE
•Strong use of Excel and Gannt Charts
•Six Sigma or Lean Qualifications

•A level in Maths
•Accounting qualifications
•Purchasing or logistics courses
