Operations Manager

My client is a market leading food manufacturer, with a diverse product portfolio. Based in South Lincolnshire, they manufacture a substantial range of ambient food products in to the UK’s leading retailers. They are currently experiencing a period of sustained growth and are now looking to add an Operations Managers to their on site leadership team.

Reporting in to the Managing Director, the Operations Managers responsibilities on a day to day basis will include:

* Creating a highly motivated team, with a strong emphasis on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across the site.
* Ensuring that all products are manufactured within allocated areas to quality standards at minimum cost.
* Manage the production plan in line with business demands & customer requirements.
* Purchasing of all production related materials at best price.
* Drive & Improve site KPI’s, downtime, productivity, OEE & waste.
* Develop on site Management Operating Systems ensuring they are accurately managed in line with business requirements.
* Ensuring onsite Health & Safety systems & procedures are in place at all times.

Ideal candidates must have previous experience within a food manufacturing environment. This position would offer a management role within a rapidly expanding operation with prospects of future progression within the business.
