My client is one of the world’s foremost support services and construction companies, they are a successful, growing, international business and offer advice, design, construction, equipment, facilities management and frontline public services and maintain the highest quality level of service delivery to their clients by the commitment and dedication of its supply chain and staff. They have gross revenues of £3.6 billion and a workforce of 80,000 people worldwide.

My client is now looking for an experienced Operations Director to work within their data centre division which specialises in the provision of FM solutions and which has extremely ambitious growth expectations.

The role holder will be expected to manage and own the achievement of all specified operational delivery requirements and company objectives in order to meet SLA and KPI targets. In addition, the candidate will also be expected to achieve statutory compliance, continual improvement and high levels of customer service delivery, together with the co-ordination of environmental, health and safety and man-management planning policies and procedures within area of responsibility, whilst providing effective leadership by promoting the highest standards of business practice.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, have P&L experience and be an advocate of continuous improvement. You will have expertise around the management sector, as the job role requires managing a remote workforce with over 150 hardworking dedicated employees.

My client is looking for a candidate who lives in the West Midlands region, however the candidate must be willing to travel, 40% of position will be based around London.

To apply you must be customer service focused and relationship driven, with a consultative approach to service delivery, you will have excellent communication and leadership skills at all levels and across all disciplines. The ideal candidate will be confident and articulate and with experience of presenting to groups of all sizes. You will be process orientated and highly organised, with a strategic and tactical approach.
