This is an excellent opportunity to join an well-known learning disability care provider.
My client is looking to continue to grow its presence in the Learning Disabilities care sector. They are well known and have a very good reputation. They are looking for a well experienced operations director to play a key role in deciding on the strategic direction of the region.
The Operations director will report directly into the Chief Operating Office and provide management to the relevant divisions to ensure a high level of service is delivered, improving operations. They will set clear goals, objectives and expectations ensuring that these are met. They will have a large input into business planning.
The company aim to be the industry leading within the next 5-10 years and are looking for an Operations Director with this same level of ambition. Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide operational leadership for the delivery of high quality services across the South of the UK.
• Take responsibility for the financial and operational performance of the business in the region.
• With the COO, lead the process of developing the annual Business Plan for each business unit with the participation of the Managers and other Head Office members.
• Ensure the agreed strategy and business plan is implemented.
• Relationship management with major clients, governing bodies and stakeholders including PCT’s, Social Services, CQC, etc.
• A proven ability to drive performance improvement, whilst delivering growth.
Ideal Candidate
• RNLD Qualified (highly desirable)
• Extensive Multi site experience specifically in the Learning Disability field
• A desire to be based in the South of the UK
• Superb man management skills with a flair for business development
