Operational Lead

Salary: £64,524 – £85,656 per year

Our Central Government client is looking to recruit an Operations Lead for 12 months on a fixed term contract. The role is hybrid with some travel requirement’s to the south coast.

• Support the directorate to ensure key processes, systems and the operating model are effective and aligned with the wider corporate vision and priorities

• Advocate for, and represent, Strategy & Communications within wider organisation committees and decision-making bodies

• Maintain and continuously improve our high-quality strategic communications planning, ensuring that customer insight and analysis form the basis of our regulatory communications

• Deliver aligned and accurate directorate performance reporting

• Work with the Director of Strategy & Communications to maintain a high-performing senior team, with clear oversight of planned and potential activities across all teams in the directorate so that this can be sufficiently resourced, budgeted and implemented

• Address emerging financial, recruitment and other risks

Essential Crieteria.

• Extensive operational management experience evidence

• Demonstrable experience in setting priorities, goals, objectives and timescales

• Prioritising and decision-making at both from an organisational and personal workload perspective

• Accountancy qualification and/or experience of managing complex budgets and financial planning

• Understanding of market research and segmentation and its application in underpinning campaign planning.
