Salary: £26,000 per year

Office Administrator required in Crumlin, Newport, offering a Salary: £26,000per year dependent on experience.

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am & 5.00pm (JOB SHARE considered)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational and administration skills to join our small team to provide administration for our approved contractors’ scheme, publications, sales and invoices.

Main duties:

* To set up, where appropriate, and carry out administrative procedures for company staff, to include taking telephone messages when technical team members are unavailable and taking and writing minutes.
* To generate and send approval expiry reminder letters to ensure that approval holders are encouraged to renew their approvals.
* To generate and distribute company approval documentation and generate and send correspondence to new approval holders advising them of their approval number.
* To generate, distribute and analyse monthly customer surveys
* To generate monthly statistics which includes the response to surveys, the volume of approvals and the response to technical enquiries
* To manage courier collections and deliveries. Booking goods in, notifying the company contact aware that they have been received and re-packaging goods (no heavy lifting involved).
* To prepare invoices and payment advice; carry out related financial administration in conjunction with administration team and accountant.
* To investigate claims of incorrect use of company approved logos and secure compliance with trademark and certification mark brand guidance. Record all investigations and the outcome of the investigation.
* To undertake administrative duties for company staff as requested.

The ideal candidate will have at least two GCSEs in English and Maths and least three years’ experience working within an office with an administration focus. It is essential to posses excellent planning and organisation skills, be numerate with a good attention to detail and have a strong customer focus. You will be an effective communicator with strong IT skills, including databases and sage accounting software. It is key that you are a self starter with an excellent team ethic.
