Triage and Support Line Team Lead

What We Offer:
Part Time 30 hours per week – Flexible, shifts can be between 10:00am – 00:30am – these will be 7.5hrs each over 7 days, including bank holidays.
Fixed Term Contract up to 1 year – May 2023 – June 2024
Salary £24,874 per annum increasing to £26,334 after a successful probation.
(Salary quoted is for full time hours, salary will be pro rata for part time hours)
Your base will be: REST Churchman House, 71 Bethel St, Norwich NR2 1NR
Annual leave entitlement of 26 days

The Service
The Triage and Support Line supports people with various Mental Health conditions from mild to moderate over the telephone. We triage service users into our service safely as well as speaking to professionals regarding a person’s needs. On the support line, we speak to people experiencing a mental health crisis – we support, listen, suggest services for the person to engage in as well as Safe Guarding individuals or contacting Emergency Services when necessary.
The Role
You will be working alongside the Service Manager to oversee the support line service within REST Norwich, and lead the team, ensuring that all service users receive the relevant, person-centred and recovery-focused support. Alongside this you will be assisting the Service Manager with the running of the support line ensuring we are offering the best possible emotional support to clients and looking after the wellbeing of the team.
As the post holder you will coordinate within the Support Line is to support staff and service users accessing the Telephone Support Line, Triage and other services within Norfolk and Waveney Mind.
To attend meetings, answer calls from colleagues, professionals and service users who have been referred to the support line.
What We Are Looking For
Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment.
Knowledge of Wellbeing Services and pathways.
Experience of leading people/teams
Experience of managing staff workplace wellbeing, training, support, supervisions, appraisals
Desirable skills (not essential) include NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a similar field.
