What We Offer:
Full Time 37.5 hours per week, working Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm with occasional evening work. The service runs from 8:00am – 8:00pm
Salary: £20,918.18 per annum
Location: Various positions across Norfolk, travelling to locations in the surrounding areas where necessary. This is a hybrid role you will work in-office, remotely and out in the community.
*Due to the nature of the role a driver licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role, mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.

The Role:
This is an exciting time to be joining Norfolk and Waveney Mind, with our charity expanding our services are growing. Working in partnership with the Norfolk & Suffolk Mental Health Foundation Trust we deliver a service within the provision of the Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing Service.
The Wellbeing Team is commissioned to help people with mild to moderate mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. Services are provided across Norfolk and Waveney for people aged 16 and over.

What We Are Looking For:
As a Peer Support Worker, you will have your own caseload of clients and will support individuals to engage in the service. You will work to achieve their goals and aspirations through individual key work, targeted recovery outcome focused interventions and person-centered planning.
You will manage your own diary by making arrangements to visit clients at their home, within the community and online. In addition, you will deliver one-to-one and group recovery focused support to clients.
You will encourage and empower those accessing the Wellbeing Service to take control of their recovery and to give them hope of recovery by providing insight, support and help identify strategies that keep them well.
Experience of working in a mental health setting is advantageous however if you have lived experience of mental health issues and would like to support others we would love to hear from you. Upon joining you will be provided with full training.
