Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year
About this Role:
My client is a World Leading Civil Engineering Contractor.
My client is looking for an experienced Night Shift General Foreman to work on a landmark project in the Wessex Region.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supervising a team in a Rail environment, with a strong background in Civil Engineering to include ideally; structures, drainage, reinforced concrete works, culverts, Overhead Lines, Platform Extension works etc.
You will hold a current CSCS Site Managers Card and an SSSTS or SMSTS managers card for this position.
Ideally you will also hold a current NRSWA supervisors card.
You will be looking after and managing the subcontractors on site, taking receipt or orders and materials and ensuring that trades and labour personnel are given clear instruction of their daily duties. You will be involved in toolbox talks, inductions of new personnel and have a strong knowledge of the health and safety aspect of working safely and best practice.
You must be flexible in terms of working hour as some night work will be involved at time due to the nature of the project.

Previous experience in a similar role with a Civil Engineering Contractor
Previous Rail experience essential
SMSTS
CSCS Supervisory
