Salary; £26,000per year for first 12 weeks, £11.93 after 12 weeks.

Hours of Work; Midnight-8.00am Tuesday-Saturday 35 hours per week

Location; East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington

Our client, an international logistics company, has a vacancy for a Night Operations Clerk to join their team. The position involves working within the warehouse and the office, meeting inbound consignments and entering/checking details using the in-house system. Contact with client depots throughout the UK via telephone and email.

A Criminal Records Check, AVSEC Certificate and 5 years referencing will need to be obtained for this position. Details of these will be discussed prior to interview.

The Role;

– Receiving data on in-bound aircraft consignments
– Updating systems accurately and efficiently
– Checking and sending data onto depots
– Ensuring all data is complete and in order
– Meeting consignment in the warehouse
– Ensuring all customs and security tags are in-tact and correct
– Co-ordinating the distribution of all consigned goods
– Working to set procedures, targets and Health & Safety Guidelines

– Possess excellent numeracy and literacy skill
– Previous export experience would be an advantage but not essential
– Current AVSEC Level D certificate an advantage but not essential
– Possess current Criminal Records Check an advantage but not essential
