We have an amazing opportunity for a.Net Software Developer to join a world leading company in the development of food processing technologies to a global market.
Job Title:.Net Software Developer
Location: Lichfield
Salary: Competitive/ Plus Annual Bonus, Life Insurance & Critical Illness Cover
Hours of work: 39 hours a week, operating a flexible start & finish time between 7:30-9:30 and finish times 4:30-6:30
3 days in the office 2 days working at home.
Purpose of the role:
As the.Net Software Developer you will be working on a wide range of products and technologies covering domains such as enterprise production planning, cost modelling, warehouse stock management, shop floor data capture and many others.
Duties:
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company’s Integreater software suite
While primarily employed as a software developer, the candidate will contribute to all parts of the software development life cycle from proposing, designing, and coding of solutions through initial testing and assisting with final product implementation.
Work in close partnership with software test engineers and team leaders to improve product quality
Take ownership of deliverables within single projects
Provide code and supporting documentation in accordance with the software development processes and codes of practice
Take part in peer reviews with your colleagues, offering advice and taking on board suggestions to share knowledge
Identify opportunities for improved productivity, efficiency and quality whilst being open to learning different technologies and processes.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working as a.Net Software Developer using Object Orientated development in C#/VB.Net, Version 4.0 and above of.NET together with framework including LINQ together with ASP.NET MVC.
You will be experienced in Database development, including relational database design, T-SQL, performance analysis & stored procedures using SQL Server.
Any experience with Angular or other web frameworks would be beneficial but not essential.
You will be a strong communicator both written and verbal with exceptional attention to detail and possess excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to work efficiently and to agreed timescales.
